Terms of Use

The agreement for using Huntsman. These terms are also the app’s end-user license (EULA).

Draft Pending legal review. Highlighted items are still to be filled in.

Last updated: draft of October 8, 2026

1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and JupiGlow LLC (“we”, “us”), the maker of the Huntsman app. By using Huntsman you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use Huntsman.

2. What Huntsman is, and isn’t

  • Huntsman is software. It shows market information and your linked brokerage account, does math on the options contract you pick, and sends the orders you confirm to your broker.
  • Huntsman is not your broker. Brokerage services are provided by the registered broker-dealer that holds your account (your “Broker”), member FINRA/SIPC. Your Broker opens and holds your account, holds your money and securities, approves options trading and executes orders. Your agreements with your Broker (including its customer agreement, options agreement and arbitration clause) govern your brokerage account. These terms don’t change them.
  • Huntsman is not made by your Broker. JupiGlow LLC is independent of every broker Huntsman links to.
  • Huntsman doesn’t give investment advice. We are not a broker-dealer or investment adviser. Nothing in the app, including anything the AI says, is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, or advice that a trade suits you. You decide every trade.

3. Who can use Huntsman

You must be at least 18 and live in the United States. You also need a brokerage account in your own name at a broker Huntsman supports, approved by your Broker for the options trading you do. You may connect only your own account.

4. Linking your brokerage account

  • Linking. You link your account by signing in on your Broker’s own page and approving Huntsman’s access: reading your account, placing and cancelling orders, and market data. We never see your brokerage password.
  • What you authorize. You authorize us to:
    • read your account;
    • send to your Broker the orders you confirm in the app;
    • send the exit orders you set up (a take-profit or stop-loss on a position) when their conditions are met. Today a stop-loss rests at your Broker as an order, and a take-profit is sent while the app is open;
    • cancel orders when you ask, or when an exit you set needs room to sell.
  • What we won’t do. We won’t place any other order without your instruction.
  • Ending access. You can end our access at any time by disconnecting in Settings or at your Broker. Disconnecting doesn’t cancel orders already at your Broker. Check your open orders there.

5. Orders

  • An order is placed only when your Broker accepts it. Your Broker may reject, delay or cancel orders under its rules. For example:
    • it may stop new same-day option positions before the close (for example, after 3:30 PM ET);
    • it may close positions near expiration if your account can’t support an exercise.
  • Prices move. A limit order may not fill, and a market order may fill at a different price than you saw.
  • Huntsman limits what it sends. It only buys calls and puts expiring within 7 days on a short list of underlyings, and it sells only what you hold. It may refuse an order that doesn’t fit these limits.
  • If the app or our servers are unavailable, or your connection drops, an order may not reach your Broker, or we may not be able to tell whether it did. Always check your orders and positions at your Broker. Your Broker’s records are the official record of your account.
  • You are responsible for every order you confirm and every exit you set, and for checking that they did what you meant.

6. Options are risky

Options can lose all their value, sometimes within minutes, and short-dated options especially.

  • You can lose the entire amount you pay for an option.
  • On expiration day, options that are in the money may be exercised into shares: 100 shares per contract for stock and ETF options. You may need to pay for them. If you can’t, your Broker may sell your position first.
  • Read the Options Disclosure Document, Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options, before you trade options. It’s in the app under Settings › Documents.

7. The AI

  • Huntsman’s AI explains market data and your own positions in plain words. It can be wrong. It may misstate a price, a number or a fact, so check before you rely on anything it says.
  • The AI doesn’t recommend trades, and it can’t place, change or cancel orders.
  • If you ask it to prepare an order, it only fills in what you said. You review and confirm it yourself.
  • With your permission, your questions and account information are sent to our AI provider to answer you (see the Privacy Policy). You can turn the AI off in Settings.

8. Market data and estimates

  • Prices, charts, news and other data come from third parties. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
  • Ranges, estimates and charts of possible outcomes (for example a range from today’s option prices, or the most you can lose) are math on today’s prices. They’re hypothetical: they aren’t real results and aren’t a promise.

9. Plans and payments

  • Huntsman has three plans: Huntsman at $199.95 a month, Pro at $399.95 a month and Max at $749.95 a month. There is no free plan. Plans are auto-renewing monthly subscriptions sold through Apple’s in-app purchase. Apple charges your Apple account.
  • Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. The trial turns into the paid plan unless you cancel before the trial ends.
  • A plan renews until you cancel in your iPhone’s Settings › your name › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before it renews. Apple handles refunds under its own policy.
  • Plans don’t change how your orders are handled. No plan is ever needed to sell a position, cancel an order, read a disclosure, contact support, disconnect your brokerage account or delete your Huntsman account.
  • Huntsman charges no trading fees. Your Broker’s and regulators’ fees, if any, are your Broker’s to show and charge.
  • We may change plan prices or features. A price change won’t apply to you before your next renewal, and you’ll be told first as Apple requires.

10. Your account with us

  • Keep your phone secure. You can turn on Face ID or a passcode lock in the app.
  • You can delete your Huntsman account in Settings at any time. That doesn’t close your brokerage account.
  • We may suspend or end your access for any of these:
    • misuse;
    • a risk to you, other users or the service;
    • if your Broker ends our access;
    • if the law requires it.

11. Acceptable use

Don’t:

  • misuse the service;
  • try to get around its limits;
  • reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows;
  • use it for anyone else’s account;
  • use automated tools to access it;
  • use it to break the law or market rules (for example manipulation).

12. Our content

We own the app, its design and its content. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple’s Usage Rules.

13. Third-party services

Huntsman relies on your Broker, Apple, our AI provider and our hosting providers. We aren’t responsible for their services. Their terms apply to your use of them.

14. Disclaimers

Huntsman is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or timely.

15. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or trading losses, arising from your use of Huntsman. This includes a delayed, failed, rejected or mistaken order, and data that was wrong or late.
  • Our total liability is no more than the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $[100].

16. Indemnity

You’ll defend and indemnify JupiGlow LLC against claims that come from your misuse of Huntsman or your breach of these terms.

17. Disputes

  • Governing law: [STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
  • Venue: [TO BE SET]

18. Apple

These terms are between you and JupiGlow LLC, not Apple.

  • Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its content, and has no duty to provide maintenance or support.
  • If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any), and Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Apple isn’t responsible for claims about the app (product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property). We are, to the extent these terms say.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
  • You confirm you aren’t in a country under a US embargo and aren’t on a US government list of prohibited parties.

19. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using Huntsman after that means you accept the new terms.
